My name is Mark Elvin and I’m face behind my food blog “Made By M.E”

The “Made By M.E” name was created, because every dish that features in my food blog was designed and created by myself. With my initials being ME It just seemed to be a perfect name to call my food blog. So Made by ME was born!!

I studied at Norwich City College for three years in Catering and Hospitality. And much of my culinary career across the UK working in award-winning hotels and restaurants.

I have around 20 plus years of catering experience and absolutely love my career.

Im now enjoying doing cooking demonstrations around East Anglia at food festivals and Country shows. Which I love doing, especially showing people new ideas and techniques. The Demos and Shows I have had the privilege of cooking at are..

I have lots of experience creating menus which focus on Norfolk’s finest sourced ingredients, which I’m lucky to have right on my doorstep.

My style of cooking is serving classic, robust flavours with a modern twist.
